Children's Wellbeing CIC
Our Why (Origin Story)
We created the Children’s Wellbeing CIC because too many primary schools were telling us the same thing:
“We know pupils need simple tools to regulate and focus—but budgets are shrinking.”
At YogaBugs, we saw a way to close that gap: a not-for-profit vehicle that channels business funding straight into classrooms, delivering practical, daily routines that help children feel calmer, safer, and ready to learn.
What a CIC means
Community first: We exist to benefit children and schools—not shareholders.
Profits reinvested: Any surplus funds pay for more school licences, training, creating new resource, additional research.
Transparent & accountable: Clear impact reports each term so sponsors see exactly what they’ve enabled.
The Moment That Sparked It
After a headteacher told us they’d cut all wellbeing spend mid-year, we piloted YogaBugs Virtual in one school using donated funds. Within weeks, teachers reported quicker settle times and pupils asking for a “reset breath”. That pilot became our model: businesses sponsor, schools use, children benefit.
What Your Support Unlocks (because we’re a CIC)
Target the need: We prioritise schools with the greatest budget pressure and SEMH demand.
Scale what works: Centralised licences + short teacher CPD = whole-school benefit fast.
Leave a legacy: Families get QR access at home, so routines stick beyond the school day.
Our Commitments to Sponsors
Every pound to pupils: Funding is ring-fenced for school delivery and support.
Simple evidence: Termly snapshot on settle time, on-task learning, and pupil confidence.
Your story, responsibly told: Co-branded updates and case studies, always safeguarding-compliant.
