What is wellbeing week?

World wellbeing is the Mental Health Foundations fundraising initiative for schools. The aim of the week is to provide young people with the tools and knowledge they need to help manage their mental health and wellbeing.

The week is a reminder for everyone, regardless of age, of the importance of wellbeing and the impact it has on our lives.

Why is wellbeing week important?

Wellbeing week gives us the opportunity to promote an overall awareness for the wide-ranging aspects of wellbeing and allows for the promotion of relaxing practices that help manage our wellbeing. Having a good wellbeing not only means that you are happy and fulfilled, but it helps us to avoid mental health difficulties.

Things you can do….

There are always things that we can be doing to improve and maintain a positive wellbeing. This includes getting the right amount of sleep and eating a balanced diet, as well as being active and exercising.
